Located north of Ballito, Harold Johnson Nature Reserve is home to various bird species and  wildlife species such as zebra, bushbuck,and impala. The nature reserve has a link with the Anglo- Zulu war of 1879 with Fort Pearson and the Ultimatum Tree located within it's premises.
